“this was definitely the highlight of the trip!! incredible staff and experience. i had extra questions and the guide did not hesitate to answer them. my recommendation would be to go on the earlier excursions when the water is calmer and less boats are out (better chance of seeing whales and dolphins). 100/10 experience, would definitely to this again!!!”

“We’ve been in early December. Not a top high tourist season. Though there were a lot on a boat. We couldn’t find where to sit with kids other than in the cabin. All the open deck places were full. Though the trip was splendid and we did eventually spotted a group of whale dolphins.”

“This whole day was amazing start to finish the boat was lovely , enough seats for everyone. The staff were very attentive and helpful the whole day, very friendly. We got to see some whales and got off for a swim towards the end. Beautiful views and clear day. Got drinks on top included and a sandwich.”

“We had an amazing time on the cruise from Los Gigantes! The crew was friendly, professional, and made everyone feel welcome from the start. The scenery along the cliffs was absolutely breathtaking, and we were lucky enough to spot several dolphins swimming alongside the boat, a truly magical sight. After we stopped in a beautiful, sheltered bay for a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear water. It was the perfect way to cool off and soak in the stunning surroundings.”

“Good communication ahead of the trip. Lovely boat, very small numbers. Friendly staff. Nice Prosecco :) Most importantly, so many pilot whales, which made for a magical experience. Only (very minor) criticism is it would be nice to have a couple more vegetarian options on the buffet but the food was a bonus not the main attraction. I would 100% recommend this trip to anyone who wants a more intimate experience. 10/10 for me (and I’m rather fussy, lol).”

“Brilliant - the star 'outing' of our holiday. Saw only a few dolphins, but the staff were very friendly, the beers flowed, and the top-deck was THE place to be (altho a cushion is advised). Didn't get much time to swim, but I would thoroughly recommend this trip.”

“We loved the whale and dolphin cruise in Tenerife. Maxicat staff were great. We had no issues with the coach pick up and drop off which was punctual and very handy. The cruise itself was brilliant. It was amazing to see the pilot whales including the young calves. Sadly we did not see any dolphins but still had a great time. The food and drinks were good and we enjoyed the swimming stop too! The Maxicat cruise was less busy than some other operators which we preferred. I would highly recommend this experience!”
